Favorite Books Read In 2020

In 2020 I ended up almost finishing more books than the three previous years combined. No real need to go over why my reading went way up in 2020. Obviously I had more time at home to chip away at my never-ending to-read pile.

However, it wasn’t like I was putting books down all year. In fact, after a huge spike in April 2020 (the most books I’ve ever finished in one month), my reading went steadily down to 0 for the last few months of the year.

Not uncommon for me to fall off during the summer and then again in the winter when I switch to all the year end movie releases. Still, I think I burnt myself out in that first full month of the pandemic. So much so that even when I started to read again in 2021 and 2022 it was mostly comics.

Whatever, not trying to analyze why I spent my time a certain way during those months. Impossible anyway since it mostly all blurs together. Only easy to see now looking back at the statistics.

Ranked below in descending order are 20 of the 75 titles I read and enjoyed the most in 2020.
