The two Eastlake Seattle studio apartments I lived in during 2013. The Buena Vista Apartment was really just a house that was cut into 4 or 5 different apartments. My tiny little section was next to a college party house and faced away from the sun into an alleyway. But, it was only $600 a month. That seemed astronomical to me when I first moved into it in 2011 (or early 2012, can’t remember), but probably near impossible to find that price anywhere in the entire neighborhood now. Anyway, the entire building and the hill it was on (and the building next to it) was demolished to create a several story apartment complex.
The second studio was one my friend lived in previously. He moved two blocks down into one with his girlfriend, and I moved seven or so blocks over from my old place into the new. This one was $725 when I first moved in.
90% of these photos are just from one single hail storm I had in the spring at the first apartment.
