Vashon Island visit. Most day trips we took had flimsy little reasons like “Go see rocks on coast”, “Pumpkin pick in up North”, etc. The excuse for Vashon on this trip was to go look at the spot of the “Maury Island incident” or the formation of “The Men In Black”.
I forget exactly where we went, but we did find a little flying saucer statue near an air field. But mostly it was an excuse to drive around to areas we hadn’t visited yet.
