Two friends of mine lived in a house for a period of time off 23rd street that was nicknamed the “Titty Pit”. It was a pretty disgusting house that was in an amazing location that I always felt like was going to collapse whenever I was in it. I have both nice and ridiculous stories I remember about all the other inhabitants of the house. But, the last thing I remember about it was walking by after everyone had moved out and it had been sold (also I think at some point a documentary about some weird sub-sect of something filmed in there) and on a chalk board that the outer fence had been converted into was a message to the neighborhood.
“We are sorry about the previous inhabitants. We promise a better future.”
The wording was a little different, but I forgot to take a picture of that, so it is only a memory, like most of the weird nights I spent in that house.
